Pride has come a long way since the very first pride in 1970, and it has changed and grown, just like the LBGT+ community has! This card and its simplistic style takes a moment to acknowledge and poke fun at trying to celebrate Pride in the 'right' way.
The text on the front of the card reads 'The person who bought you this card doesn't want pride to just be thirty days of corporate pandering (but they also acknowledge the queer joy is important, the amount of progress we have made, and the significance of the visibility and social acceptance of Pride), but still wants to celebrate your queerness so they bought this card from a small business run by a nonbinary queer person, so they could support the community and they could tell you that they love who you are in a non-exploitative way.'
The inside of the card says Nothing's perfect. I love you. Happy Pride.' in a simple handwritten-style font.
An envelope is included in this order. Cards are shipped in a rigid cardboard mailer, protected from moisture by a glassine bag.
